Car Description

Ferrari has lifted the curtain from the second member of the 488 family: The Spider. Ferrari’s new 488 Spider with a retractable hardtop is especially intriguing and energizing. It’s 25kg lighter than the fabric roof used on the old F430 Spider. The aluminum case and body construction implies the new car’s held the same torsional inflexibility as the roadster.

Additionally extended from the GTB is the new 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 and seven-speed F1 double grip transmission. Roof up or down, the 488 will top out at 203mph, yet Ferrari claims 24.7mpg and CO2 discharges of 260g/km. To make the 488 even more captivating to drive, Ferrari has changed the electronic aids.

Ferrari has a long and renowned history of growing fast, loud open-top supercars. The second-generation Slide Slip Angle Control System (SSC2) permits the driver greater opportunity with throttle inputs, with less interrupting footing control.
